About our logo. The redesiged logo is an abstract image meant to convey several hidden concepts. First, the square is imperfect. This represents the nature of the church. We readily admit that we are not perfect, but we serve ONE who is. We strive to live as the Bible teaches and conduct the work of the church as instructed. We are driven to be as perfect as the model given to us in Scripture, but being human we sometimes make mistakes. Visually, this concpet is seen in the top right corner which is slightly misshapen. Second, the color of the square uses many shades of green. This represents the variety of Christians who make up the church. We are all in different stages of development and engaged in different levels of devotion and study. Some of our members are mature, life-long followers while others are brand new to the faith. In addition, there are many in between. Visually, this is brought out by the many shades of green. Third, the five arcs represent the outflowing arms of the church. To impact people with the love of God, we offer several ministries designed to engage people in the five phases of life: childhood, adolescence, young adulthood, mid-adluthood, and mature adulthood. These five phases of life are seen as the five arcs. In addition, the direction of the arcs begin from the center of the square (or church) and rotate outward eventually leaving the square. This is to show the nature of the church and our ministries: to begin from within and move outside, impacting non-Christians.
