Every fall, the church holds a friendly chili cook-off. Since everyone thinks they make the best chili, this is a fun way to find out who really does. This year, the chili cook-off will be at Kenny and Theresa Hoyle's barn located at 1432 Jasper Rd. The fun begins at 4:00 pm with games like horseshoes and corn hole. The chili competition is at 5:00 pm when the judges determine the winner. Afterwards, everyone can sample and enjoy all the chili entries.
