November 23, 2011
Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve have always been evenings of fun and celebrating with friends and family. They each have their annual traditions of family meals, stuffing stockings, and counting down the new year. Now at XCC, Thanksgiving Eve gets its own tradition...the Thanksgiving Bonfire.
Enjoy the warmth of friends and family at the 1st annual Thanksgiving Bonfire. Join us at 6:00 pm on November 23 for this new holiday tradition. We'll sing songs and offer prayers of thanksgiving, encourage each other in fellowship, and enjoy the warmth of the fire. It will be a fun-filled evening of thanks to remember.
The bonfire will be built in the field behind the church building. In addition to the fire, we'll have hot dogs, marshmallows, apple cider, hot cocoa, and snacks on hand. We hope you will join us for this new and exciting event. See Kenny Keller with questions.
